Yesterday's work effort was dedicated to starting the final wire up process. I should say "fitting" the existing wiring to the new chassis. When the main tube module was initially installed on the bread board, the wire lengths were much longer than that needed in the more compact chassis.
I also engaged in more metal work by adding angle stock to the top of the front and back panels. Work also started on the front to back braces. When done we will have a rigid boxlike structure.
Panel Control Wiring
The braces and similar angle stock on the bottom plate provide a mounting surface for side plates and thus form an enclosure cabinet around the mostly Vacuum Tube Wireless transceiver. I have used this methodology previously with great success. A commercial cabinet for the rig would cost over $100. I did it for a fraction of that cost.
Thank you, Herman, for your help today! C'mon guys Herman did not do anything, and we should never accord AI such a human status. It took a human (me) to input information into the algorithm and to decide what was relevant! AI is not human and is just a tool and nothing more!
That said for the unskilled worker there is a likelihood your job will soon be done by an AI Bot. Plan ahead. The tariffs will drive that decision sooner rather than later! You are on notice.
Them that know can make things go.
