It is not Gobal Warming

It is just plain HOT! For most of yesterday afternoon the garage was at 90F and the next 10-day outlook is SOS. (Same Old Stuff).

But I did get some things sorted out and that was to install the octal socket on the integrated power supply board and installed the two Band Pass Filters and laid out the locations of the Driver, IRF510 and the Audio Amp on the underside of the mounting plate. This took a lot of time to ensure mounting holes on one side did not end up square in the middle of a pc board on the top side. I did find a solution, but it was measuring 300 times and cut once.

Locating the Tx and Rx Band Pass Filters.

The fitting of the five boards (2 on top and 3 on the bottom) was not unlike the 1st time fitting Mary Jo at 136.36 KG or 21.43 Stone weight (300 pounds) into the back seat of the 57 VW Beetle. Many tries but finally successful. The KG weight and Stone weight is provided to our international blog readers to whom pounds is not a standard. No matter the weight form, she was hefty!

I am also pondering and somewhat fretting over the cutting of the front and back panels as I don't want to screw up the surface finish and the general layout so ergonomically and aesthetically it meets the highest standards. I have done some practice cut outs on scrap material and some of those are plain ugly, so I continue to fret!

We continue to make progress and foresee about another two weeks hampered mostly by the hot weather.

Them that know can make things go. You are being watched.
